WATCH DOGS - BAD BLOOD

Subject: Game Designer
Platform: PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE, Wii U
Duration: 2013-2014 (6mo graduation internship)
Location: Ubisoft, Paris, FR
Description:

At Ubisoft Paris my graduation internship consisted of designing and creating side mission prototypes for the DLC of Watch Dogs. The ideas were generated by learning and applying Ubisoft's Rational Game Design (RGD) method. The brief was to only re-use existing design features in a systemic way. This meant the tricky part was to find interesting ways to combine the systemic design components of the open world game, and not script new behaviours or mechanics. One prototype per week was the goal. My personal goal was to try to surprise the player by making the mission objectives as little repetitive as possible.

During this internship I wrote a graduation assignment report about:
Learning and applying Rational Game Design on systemic designs in a Triple-A environment.

I have graduated with a 10/10 and Cum Laude for my studies.
